That keeps the footprint small, so it slips into existing setups without forcing you to rework the whole mounting structure.
The Heart of It: Built to Take the Outdoors
The core is the quartz halogen tube, chosen because it heats up quickly and holds steady. The halogen cycle keeps the filament stable, so you don’t get that short, frustrating life you see with standard infrared lamps. We went with the R7s connector—industry standard for this shape—because it locks in securely at both ends and handles high current without getting hot under pressure. And since it’s meant for outdoor life, we sealed the whole assembly heavy-duty waterproof. Rain. Snow. It doesn’t matter. The internal electronics and the lamp stay protected, so you don’t have to baby it.
The Real-World Trade-offs (And Why They’re Worth It)
Nightclub patios need one thing above all: heat that shows up the second people step outside. The waterproof build means you can leave this installed outside, instead of dragging it in every night. But that 2500W output comes with a trade-off. It needs a dedicated circuit, and you’ve got to plan for proper insulation to manage the heat sink load. If the enclosure doesn’t breathe right, internal temps climb, and components wear out faster. We designed the unit to handle it, but you have to match it with the right electrical setup.
