It feels like a tax just for keeping the machines running. We decided to fix that. We make drop-in replacement bulbs that do exactly what the originals do, but without the “brand name” price tag. The science of the heat Here is the deal with PET blowing: you need the plastic soft, but not scorched. It’s a tight window. Our bulbs are built to the exact voltage and wattage your oven expects. We use high-wattage quartz tubes because you need that shortwave radiation to punch through the plastic fast. If the heat drops even a little, your cycle speeds tank and you start seeing uneven bottle walls. Nobody wants to deal with that on a production run. Built to actually last We use high-purity quartz glass because cheap glass burns out. It’s that simple. We also pay a lot of attention to the connectors—usually R7s or Sk15. Most of the time, these lamps fail at the contact point because of arcing. To stop that, we precision-machine the pins so they fit snug and secure.
